Founder, President & CEO
Experienced, trustworthy, fun. These are just a few of the ways people describe this invaluable member of our team. Originally from St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Ms. Duncan immigrated to Canada in 2003. Since then, she has successfully completed her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing & Concentration in Management. With years of experience as an Entrepreneur, specializing in marketing, research, sales and management, Goldeen is highly professional in her business processes and manages charity fundraising successfully.
Backed by an extraordinary vision to address the systematic needs of the community, Ms. Duncan is passionate about supporting children and youths, and is excited for what the future holds for Youth Empowerment Organization.
Josyl Headly brings a passion for knowledge development and optimization of child potential. As a lifelong learner, she is currently enrolled to begin her master’s degree, while she works in an administrative role at Dalhousie University.
Outside of supporting youth and the organization, she is an active member of her church community and co-chairs the nursery committee. She is also a regular volunteer with her children's school regularly. She bring years of experience and skills to the forefront in helping our organization grow and succeed.
Nadra Al Harthi
Chief Financial Officer
Born and raised in the sultanate of Oman, Nadra completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at Mount Saint Vincent University. Nadra is deeply devoted and passionate about giving back to the community and enjoys being around people where she ushers positive energy everywhere she goes.
Outside of the organization, she works with AIM Recycling Ottawa and continues her education towards a CPA Designation. She joined Youth Empowerment Organization with the vision and drive to improve upon our Non-Profit Organization, and focused on developing the organization with experience and integrity.
Juline Cox has an extensive background in youth programs and initiatives that benefits the organization's development and creative undertakings.
Outside of supporting youth, Juline is a property manager at Universal Realty Group based out of Park Lane Mall. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and operations of retail and commercial properties.
Ezekiel Cuffy takes a vision and transforms it into reality. After immigrating to Canada in 2009 and starting a career as a technician at Eastlink, he is now the owner of his own successful painting company Armani Painting.
Ezekiel is an inspiring leader and role model throughout the community and enjoys mentoring children and youth. As a director of the Youth Empowerment Organization, Ezekiel helps others extend their thinking by reciting his personal experiences from when he was younger.
